What is the difference between Stupid Cupid and Stupid Cupid 2.0 and the others?Stupid Cupid Intended for straight singles 21 - 40 years of age, Stupid Cupid (the original) sets the tone for all events. A private, curated experience to meet a companion in a safe, no-pressure environment. Stupid Cupid 2.0 Pronounced “Stupid Cupid 2 Point O”, this is the digital/virtual version of the event intended for singles who prefer to meet online. In order to attend, attendees must speak English and have a good audio, video, and internet connection. Stupid Cupid Overseas Vacations are always better in groups - or at least we think so. In this iteration, we take singles from the same area & fly them overseas to explore love in paradise. Through SCO, 3E Travel curates a custom group itinerary that encourages networking and adventure. Stupid Cupid Rainbow Tribe Intended for LGBTQ+ singles 21+ years of age, this event is presented in a breakout format to ensure the best possible love matches. Whatever your preference, we got you! Stupid Cupid 40+ Crew Let's be real, finding love after any age is tough, but in this version, we assemble seasoned bosses & keep it cute for our experienced crew. This iteration is intended for straight singles 40+ plus years of age. The best part of our community, you can join all, a few, or just one.

Where did the idea for Stupid Cupid come from?SC derived out of a need to break toxic cycles of the dating experience. Even the history behind Valentine’s Day is a bit toxic, so we are taking something that tends to be a painful experience and reshaping it in a way that suits the new reality of dating in the age of situation-ships, technology, and limited attention spans. Stupid Cupid gets its playful theme from the historical perception of St. Valentine. Accounts vary regarding the true nature of St. Valentine, especially since there are more than a dozen recorded versions of him. From he that is recognized by the Roman Catholic Church, known to be a real person, all the way to stories of him as a temple priest who was beheaded near Rome for helping Christian couples wed. The saint we celebrate on Valentine’s Day is known officially as St. Valentine of Rome; people call on him to watch over the lives of lovers, and he is recognized as the patron saint of engaged couples and happy marriages. “Valentinus”—from the Latin word for strong or healthy, helps to set the overall tone of our event. We want our participants to be reminded that they are powerful beings, stronger than they think, both emotionally & mentally, and most importantly, they are worthy of honest, and healthy love & companionship.
-
Are you a match-maker?No. We do not claim to be professionally licensed or skilled at the art of match-making, but we are good at including them in our events & at understanding people and using our resources. We simply gather the right singles (and the best vendors coupled with the dopest locations) to make finding that "special someone" unique, exciting and worth your time.
-
What is the Hot List? The Hot List is our playful term for the Crushes signed up to participate in Stupid Cupid but they get advanced noticed for upcoming dates & private live events, as well as "first right of refusal" to attend an event if we’re sold-out/at capacity. These are members who are genuinely serious about finding love/companionship.
-
How do I get on the Hot List?To get on the Hot List, you have to be referred by one of our Diamond Club Members or Hosts.
-
What is a VIP or "Diamond Club Member"?A Very Important Participant aka “Diamond Club Member” is a member of the Stupid Cupid family who not only is serious about finding long-lasting companionship, but they’re truly willing to go the extra mile and give-in to letting go. Let us know you're coming by reserving your spot for that event. remember to follow event-specific guidelines/registration steps, because they vary by type. for instance, if you're attending Stupid Cupid Overseas, you have to confirm your accommodations & travel but you are not required to complete a pre-registration interview to attend. other events may require a pre-event interview to ensure the best match potential pool. You may also receive exclusive invites to private events by an Official Host, always consider those nontransferable invites.
-
Is this event open to anyone?Yes, if you are 21 years of age or older! By registering in advance, participants tell the host which side of the heterosexual or homosexual scale they live on and which age range they prefer to be matched with. This avoids spending the evening getting to know “Mr. or Ms. Wrong”. Hey - one more awkward conversation avoided, right? We make it easy for our participants to narrow down the dating field by placing them in specific virtual rooms where a love potential could be waiting. From there, it’s just friendly games and even better conversation.
-
What is a request vs. an invitation vs. a registration?Requirements to attend Stupid Cupid Events varies by type. Generally, participants submit an Access Request Form which is the first step to come to any event and get on the invite list. Completing this form tells us who you are, what you're looking for, etc. After we’ve found a good set of singles for you to get to know and are ready to share details of the next event, we'll email you information. From there, additional steps may be required, and vary for instance, if you're attending Stupid Cupid Overseas, additional steps are required to confirm your accommodations & travel but you are not required to complete a pre-registration interview to attend. You may also receive exclusive invites to private events by an Official Host, always consider those nontransferable invites.
-
What happens after I submit my request form?Event Hosts will review your information and reach out to schedule a one-one-one session with you on video chat. This should take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and it's our opportunity to learn more about you and your needs (vs. wants) & for you to ask questions. Then, you'll receive information on the next event where we know we'll have the perfect set of singles for you to meet.
-
Why wasn’t my registration confirmed? (Why am I on the waiting list?)Event Hosts uniquely craft a series of games for every event, tailoring them to the registered audience. We work hard not to waste anyone’s time, so we’ll only confirm registration (per event) if we think there is someone you would love to meet. Our goal is to make it easy for our participants to narrow down the dating field by placing them in specific events where a love potential could be waiting. From there, it’s just friendly games and even better conversation.
